   Basic Water Immersion Dyeing, A simple way to make 2 interrelated silk veils

Taught by Gael Wolfendenstab- -Steib aka Rukshana

Learn a quick and easy dying method using fiber reactive dyes to create multicolored fabrics.  Participants will be exposed to several different variations of this techniques and samples of the wide range of results available when using this process.  Each participant will dye two 45” x 108” 8mm semi circle silk veils (great for double veil!) of their own using the techniques of their choosing.  No dying experience is necessary!  Please be sure to wear old clothes, close toe shoes, and an apron.  We will be working outside. This workshop is perfect for the individual who would like to create custom colors on fabrics.  Supplies provided in workshop

 

Maximum 12 Participants.

 

$55 includes the class and your 2 veils
